Undead Kingdom v0.5
Features:
- Added a new level generation system. This system will allow me to generate new level starting from a image I can quickly edit. This will make the process of creating new levels and prototyping much quicker. This system for now can automatically generate walls (black), terrain (white), doors (brown), any other color will be ignored and nothing will be placed.
The generated result is not the most efficient, but for now it can do. I will have to merge every tile in a single mesh.
- Added lightmaps. For now lightmaps are present only on walls, floors and the player. Will slowly apply the lightmaps to every entity.
- Added torches. Will light up the dungeon with dynamic lights.
- Added floor spike traps.
- Added wall spike traps (not available in this current level).
- Added doors. Doors will block the passage but can be unlocked consuming a key.
- Added keys. Keys can be collected by simply walking on them or purchased at the merchant store.
- Added merchant. Will sell the player 3 random items from its catalogue. The catalogue for now only list: keys, knight corpse, archer corpse. Items at the shop can be bought using Souls.
- Added souls. Souls are the basic currency of the game. Will be dropped by dead enemies. They might also appear randomly in the dungeon.
Bugfix:
- Solved a bug that was causing allied undead knights to have a view range of 3m instead of 10m.
- Solved a bug where entities were ignoring any other threat when a target to attack was already set.
- Solved a bug where arrow could damage multiple targets close together.
Other:
- Revamped Texture of walls and floor
